Raised in Chino Valley, Arizona, I grew up riding bikes and exploring Arizona's trail systems. I started racing mountain bikes my sophomore year in high school, and was named captain of my high school team my senior year. After high school, I served a mission for my church in Montana and Wyoming where I met a lot of amazing people. I am now attending Yavapai College where I'm majoring in Computer Science. I also work as a bike mechanic at High Gear Bikes in Prescott, Arizona. In my free time, I train and race bikes.

My performance philosophy follows a three-pronged approach:

For me, training is complex and multifaceted. It includes workouts, nutrition, rest, challenging myself, and overcoming mental barriers that can stymie my performance and success. Building relationships and connections is at the heart of why cycling is so important to me—I'm grateful for family, friends, coaches, mentors, teammates, competitors, and the cycling community who cheer me on, support me, and encourage me along this path. And finally, enjoying the process, including the highs and lows, is essential for me to succeed and grow in this two-wheeled journey.
